Lawyer says Ga. judge sets bond for Gucci Mane at $75,000 in alleged nightclub assault case

ATLANTA – A lawyer for Gucci Mane says a judge has set a $75,000 bond for the rapper, who is accused of hitting a fan in the head with a champagne bottle at an Atlanta nightclub.

Attorney Drew Findling said Wednesday that his client, whose real name is Radric Davis, plans to post bond in Fulton County. He will then be transferred to DeKalb County, where Findling says Davis has a hold placed on him because of his probation for an unrelated misdemeanour charge.

Davis was originally denied bond at a hearing last month.

A fan says Davis hit him in a club’s V.I.P. area on March 16 while he tried to take a picture with Gucci Mane. The fan, James Lettley, said he needed 10 stitches.
