Raptors clinch third-straight Atlantic Division title thanks to Celtics’ loss

The Toronto Raptors have won their third-straight Atlantic Division title.

First place in the division was clinched for the idle Raptors by a 116-109 Portland Trail Blazers victory over the Boston Celtics on Thursday night.

Toronto beat the Atlanta Hawks 105-97 on Wednesday night for the Raptors 50th win of the season, a new team record.

The Raptors trail the Cleveland Cavaliers by 2 1/2 games for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.

Toronto has eight games left in the season, while Cleveland has seven.
