VIDEO: Demolition of Kelowna fruit packing plant
KELOWNA – A local construction company have uploaded a video showing the final stage of the demolition of the old B.C. Tree Fruit packing house in Kelowna.
The old building on Clement Avenue was taken demolished this winter to make room for the widening of Clement Avenue.
In the video posted by Dig It Contracting, a pair of excavators use their buckets in tandem to give the final wall and roof structure a gentle push, bringing everthing down.
The new Police Services Building, which will be complete by this summer, is visible in the background.
