Ex-Knicks coach Fisher appears as Turner analyst this week

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Former New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher will appear as a guest analyst on Turner Sports’ NBA coverage this week.

Fisher is a five-time champion as a player who was fired in February after 1 1/2 seasons as Knicks coach. He calls his TV spot a “tremendous opportunity” to stay close to the game and “share insight from a new perspective.”

He will join former Lakers teammate Shaquille O’Neal, Brent Barry and host Matt Winer on Thursday on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” studio show. The network’s doubleheader that night is highlighted by the Spurs-Warriors matchup in the nightcap.

On Wednesday, Fisher will appear on NBA TV’s “NBA Gametime.”
