Slippery roads blamed for three-vehicle collision
PENTICTON – A late season snowfall resulted in slippery highways and a three-vehicle crash in the South Okanagan last night.
Kaleden firefighters responded to the collision on Highway 3A around 5:22 p.m. yesterday, March 9.
The collision occurred during heavy snow, near the east end rest area at Yellow Lake.
Fire Chief Darlene Bailey said one person was transported to hospital by ambulance. She said it appeared one vehicle lost control on icy roads and collided with two oncoming vehicles.
