Vernon will come alive with Carnival in Wonderland

On February 28, 2017, the Vernon Winter Carnival Board of Directors chose the 2018 Winter Carnival theme; the 58th Vernon Winter will run February 2nd – 11th, 2018.

"With several suggestions from the community; the board of directors had quite a task. The suggestions were wide ranged, however a theme was chosen! We look forward to begin planning with the new theme and are we are always impressed with the ideas the community comes up with for their events.

“We are very excited for 2018 Carnival in Wonderland. This theme has so many possibilities; from Winter Wonderland, Alice in Wonderland to Canada wonderland. We know that the theme will take off on how each individual sees Wonderland.”

Last night Vernon Winter Carnival announced the event winners as well as the theme for 2018. Thank you to Jack at Schubert Centre for hosting the evening. As always thank you to our amazing Title sponsor Fix Auto Vernon Central, our trophy sponsors Caufields Engraving and Rellish Transport Rob Ellis.
