Man testifies it was like he’d been ‘murdered’ the night wife cut off penis
SANTA ANA, Calif. – The estranged husband of a woman charged with severing his penis said it was as though his life ended the evening of the attack.
The man cried as he testified Wednesday at the trial of Catherine Kieu (KYOO), saying the 2011 attack caused him excruciating pain.
Orange County prosecutor John Christl (CRYSTAL) said Kieu was in a jealous rage so she laced his food with sleeping pills, tied him to a bed, severed his penis and then put it in the garbage disposal.
City News Service reports that the penis couldn’t be reattached.
Kieu’s lawyers said a traumatic childhood and an abusive marriage put Kieu in a mental state where she can’t be held responsible.
