OKANAGAN – Today is the first day of spring, but Okanagan residents will have to wait a little longer to catch the sun. According to Environment Canada's forecast, today is the bright spot of the otherwise cloudy and rainy week ahead.
Today, March 20, should be mainly sunny with the high peaking at 9 Celsius. Overnight expect a 70 per cent chance of rain showers or wet flurries and a low of about 2 C.
Plan for showers and a high of 8 C tomorrow.
More of the same on Wednesday with clouds and a high of 10 C. The mercury will fall to -1 C overnight with a 60 per cent chance of showers.
Cloudy on Thursday with a high of 8 C and a low of 1 C overnight.
You might need an umbrella on Friday, with the forecast calling for a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 11 C.
