Lady Antebellum to sing national anthem at Kentucky Derby

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Churchill Downs says the country trio Lady Antebellum will sing the national anthem at the 142nd Kentucky Derby.

The performance will be broadcast live from the Kentucky Derby Winner’s Circle at the Louisville, Kentucky, racetrack right before the historic race May 7. The performance will kick off a summer tour for the Grammy Award-winning group.

Lady Antebellum will be the eighth performer to sing The Star-Spangled Banner before the race since the track started the tradition in 2009.
