Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Up 10 cents, or 6.99 per cent, to $1.53 on 24 million shares.

Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Down 26 cents, or 4.68 per cent, to $5.30 on 12.1 million shares.

Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Down 22 cents, or 4.30 per cent, to $4.90 on 6.9 million shares.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down 20 cents, or 3.45 per cent, to $5.59 on 6.5 million shares.

Barrick Gold Corp. (TSX:ABX). Miner. Down 75 cents, or 3.65 per cent, to $19.81 on 6.1 million shares.

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Up four cents, or 0.56 per cent, to $7.18 on 5.7 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Shaw Communications Inc. (TSX:SJR.B). Telecommunications and media. Down 77 cents, or 3.17 per cent, to $23.54 on two million shares. Shaw Communications Inc. says its second-quarter results generally held steady compared with the same time last year, despite difficult economic times besetting some of its core markets in Western Canada. It had $164 million of net income or 32 cents per share for the three months ended Feb. 29, down from $168 million or 34 cents per share in its 2015 second quarter.
