Canada beats Finland 3-1 to advance to U18 men’s world hockey final
SOCHI, Russia – Canada will play for the gold medal at the world under-18 hockey championship.
Morgan Klimchuk, Josh Morrissey and Samuel Bennett scored for Canada in a 3-1 semifinal win over Finland.
Joose Antonen had the lone goal for Finland.
The United States and host Russia will play in today’s other semifinal.
The medal games are scheduled for Sunday.
The Americans have won gold at this event the last four years. Canada won bronze last year.
