Looking for a forever home, Penticton SPCA Pet of the Week
Katie
Katie is a lovely dog who is eager to please.
She knows her basic commands and is a gem to walk on the leash.
Katie does have a tendency to roam, for this reason the SPCA is recommending a large fenced yard for this girl.
Katie has lived peacefully with free range chickens, and another dog, however she is quite growly with the dogs in the shelter. She does chase cats and has not lived with one.
She would prefer to live with someone who is home most of the time with lots of time to spend with her. She may have anxiety and be vocal when left alone.
She is an active dog who will require an active lifestyle. She loves to swim and the previous owner said she was great with children. If you think Katie is a match for you please inquire at the B.C. SPCA South Okanagan/Similkameen Branch.
