West Kelowna RCMP investigate rollover that injured three people
WEST KELOWNA – A Jeep carrying five people flipped onto its roof over the weekend, sending one occupant to hospital.
On Sunday, April 2, just after 5:30 p.m., West Kelowna RCMP were called to a single vehicle rollover in the 4400 block of Glenrosa Road.
Five people were inside the green Jeep YJ when it flipped and landed on its roof, RCMP Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey says in a media release.
The driver, an 18-year-old West Kelowna man, did not report any injuries, while three of his four passengers sustained relatively minor non-life threatening injuries, O’Donaghey says.
“One of those passengers was transported to hospital for further medical assessment,” he says in the release.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and no charges have been laid.
