American pop-up consulate coming to Kelowna

KELOWNA – American citizens needing consular services won’t have to make the trip to Vancouver, as a “Pop-Up Consulate” will be held in Kelowna next month.

The United States Consulate General in Vancouver will hold a “pop-up consulate” in Kelowna at the Okanagan Regional Library on May 18.

Passport and Consular Report of Birth Abroad applications will be accepted, as well as notarial services.

Although it is a pop-up, a fee and an appointment are required.

In order to book an appointment or ask any questions, e-mail VancouverACS@state.gov by May 17.

The Pop-Up event will be held from 10:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, on the second floor group study room at the Okanagan Regional Library, at 1380 Ellis St.
