Pile of cash found; RCMP looking for owner

ARMSTRONG – RCMP are looking for the owner of a large sum of cash dropped in the Armstrong Liquor Store Saturday morning.

Someone spotted the pile of money and turned it over to the clerk, who called the police.

The investigators had a look at the surveillance camera footage and discovered the owner of the cash is a white haired woman who was wearing a black top and white capri pants.

RCMP say they think the woman is from Alberta.

Anyone who knows the woman who lost a large amount of cash is asked to contact the Armstrong RCMP office a call at 250-546-3028.

The amount of cash and how it was packaged will be part of the way police will identify the owner.
