KAMLOOPS – Arts, museums, photography, theatre and music are among the 15 free activities already planned for this weekend as part of the 5th anniversary of Culture Days in Kamloops.
From free admission to hands-on workshops and ukuleles to hoop dancing, there will be many activities to help everyone create, celebrate and participate in the local arts culture.
Culture Days activities will run from Friday, Sept. 26 through Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Art Gallery, the Pavilion Theatre, Kamloops Museum, the Old Courthouse, Sagebrush Theatre, St. Andrews on the Square and Riverside Park.
World Rivers Day will be held at Riverside Park in conjunction with Culture Days on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The annual event will take place near the water park and will include local entertainers, musicians and arts and crafts as well as face painting, bouncy castle and tree planting. There will also be a shoreline cleanup after 11 a.m.
