B.C. ELECTION 2017: Conflicting candidate forums for Kelowna-Lake Country candidates

KELOWNA – There is a forum scheduling conflict for the candidates running for the job of MLA in Kelowna-Lake Country ahead of provincial election day.

The candidates will have to decide between a forum hosted by the Lake City Chamber of Commerce for the Kelowna-Lake Country riding or a forum for all the candidates in the three Kelowna ridings being organized by Community Action Toward Children’s Health. Both forums are from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 27.

The Lake Country Chamber's forum will be held at the Creekside Theatre, while the Community Action forum will be at the Hollywood Road Education Services building.

Meanwhile, the Central Okanagan Retired Teachers’ Association has an all candidates forum scheduled for the ridings of Kelowna-Lake Country, Kelowna-Mission, Kelowna West and Penticton. The event, which will focus on seniors' issues, will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25 at the Kelowna Community Theatre.
