Arrest made in case of Hamilton, Ont., man missing after pickup truck test drive
HAMILTON – Police say they have made an arrest in the case of a southwestern Ontario man who went missing after taking two men on a test drive of his pickup truck.
Hamilton police say they will provide information on the arrest in the Tim Bosma case at a 1 p.m. news conference.
Bosma was reported missing Monday night after two men arrived at his home for a test drive of his black 2007 Dodge Ram pickup, which Bosma had listed for sale online.
A police search found Bosma’s cellphone Thursday in nearby Brantford, leading investigators to an unidentified Toronto man who earlier took the two suspects for a test drive of his own Dodge Ram truck, also put up for sale online.
Police have said one of the suspects has the word “Ambition” tattooed inside a box on his wrist — something investigators called unique.
Police have conducted additional searches of the Brantford area, as they continue to look for and his vehicle, which was spotted hours after he left with the two men for the test drive.
