B.C. ELECTION 2017: Fifth candidate announced for Kamloops-South Thompson riding

KAMLOOPS – There is a fifth candidate running for the Kamloops-South Thompson seat in the legislature.

Jessica Bradshaw is the nominee for the B.C. Libertarian Party.

Elections B.C. added her to the final list of candidates today after she was approved this morning she says in an email.

The party she’s running for has a platform based on lower taxes and smaller government. They list 33 candidates for the upcoming May 9 election.

In a video posted to Youtube she introduces herself and lays out her political beliefs, including distrust in politicians, offering an alternative to Kamloops residents from the mainstream parties and community involvement. She also admits to not voting in the past few elections.

She's running against B.C. Liberal incumbant Todd Stone, former city councillor and B.C. NDP candidate Nancy Bepple, current city councillor and B.C. Green Party candidate Donovan Cavers along with Communist candidate Beat Klossner.
