
Watch out for man stealing from unlocked cars in Lake Country
LAKE COUNTRY – RCMP are warning residents of a man stealing from unlocked vehicles in a number of Lake Country parking lots.
On the morning of Saturday, April 15, a suspected male in his twenties stole cash, bank cards and wallets from cars parked at the Winfield Arena, Swalwell Park, Aspen Grove Golf Course and Beasley Park, according to a press release.
The suspect is suspected to be Middle Eastern or South Asian with dark facial hair. During the time of the thefts, he was reported to be wearing an oversize white hoodie with unknown black designs. Police say he may have been driving in a silver van.
