Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down one cent, or 0.13 per cent, to $7.64 on 5.7 million shares.
Manulife Financial Corp. (TSX:MFC). Financial Services. Up three cents, or 0.16 per cent, to $18.40 on 5.4 million shares.
BELLUS Health Inc. (TSX:BLU). Biotechnology. Up six cents, or 17.65 per cent, to 40 cents on 4.9 million shares.
Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Down 17 cents, or 2.75 per cent, to $6.02 on 4.6 million shares.
Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Down nine cents, or 0.57 per cent, to $15.76 on 4.1 million shares.
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down 12 cents, or 1.29 per cent, to $9.15 on 4.1 million shares.
Companies reporting major news:
Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. (TSX:CP). Transportation. Down $3.80, or 2.33 per cent, to $159.30 on 700,496 shares. Canadian Pacific says its financial results have taken a hit from a number of factors, including lower volumes of bulk commodities such as grain and potash. The Calgary-based railway estimates revenue for the quarter ending June 30 will be about 12 per cent below the same period last year.
