Coroner identifies Salmon Arm man killed in industrial accident

The investigation into the death of a young Salmon Arm man continues, as his identity is released.

Shane Mackenzie Gorner, 19, died on Wednesday afternoon at Dinoflex Manufacturing.

The Salmon Arm Secondary School graduate was pronounced dead at the scene.

The company makes rubber flooring from recycled tires.

The RCMP, WorkSafe B.C. and the B.C. Coroners Service are looking into Gorner’s death.
