PENTICTON – A Penticton man faces several charges following an alcohol fuelled incident on Rosetown Avenue last Saturday.
Penticton RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth said police were called to a Rosetown Avenue address around 2:45 p.m. April 22 about reports of a man entering vehicles and stealing the contents.
The suspect was found but resisted arrest, assaulting the police officer with a kick to the head.
The 24-year-old man was taken into custody and found to be intoxicated.
He was released when sober, but not before being booked for a future court date on charges of mischief, theft, assaulting a peace officer and obstruction.
