B.C. ELECTION 2017: B.C. Liberal leader campaigning in the Okanagan today

KELOWNA – B.C. Liberal leader Christy Clark is on a whirlwind tour of the Okanagan today. 

The Kelowna-West incumbent has six separate appearances scheduled today, May 2, up and down the valley, a week before the provincial election.

This morning Clark was in Merritt and Princeton and at 12:25 p.m. she will join Liberal Boundary-Similkameen Liberal candidate Linda Larson at Brar Orchards in Osoyoos.

The whistle-stop tour will be at the Cock & Bull Cappuccino Bar in Oliver at 1:10 p.m. Larson will be accompanying Clark to this event as well.

From coffee to beer, Clark will be at Bad Tattoo Brewing in Penticton with Liberal candidate Dan Ashton at 3:50 p.m.

To wrap up the day, Clark will be in her own riding of Kelowna-West. Clark will be joined by Kelowna Liberal candidates Steve Thomson and Norm Letnick at the Laurel Packinghouse at 5:30 p.m.

Her campaign stops in the Okanagan today appear to be her first since the writ dropped on April 11, 2017.

Clark is not scheduled to make any appearances today in Vernon in support of local Liberal candidate Eric Foster.
