OKANAGAN FALLS – Some of Okanagan Falls Irrigation District customers will be without water for a period of time tomorrow.
A communication from the Okanagan Falls Irrigation District notes construction work on the upper zone will result in the district having to shut the water off to a portion of its subscribers.
On Friday, May 5 from 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m. the shut off notice applies to the following areas: Mimac Court, Brockie Place, 14th Avenue, Maple Street south of 14th Avenue, Oliver Ranch Road, Wallis Road and Leslie Drive.
The District says the shutdown is necessary in order to make system improvements.
Ratepayers are advised to be prepared by having enough water on hand to last the day.
