B.C. ELECTION 2017: NDP leader to spend Saturday campaigning in Okanagan

OKANAGAN – With just days until the provincial election, B.C. NDP leader John Horgan is set to campaign in Summerland, Penticton and Vernon this weekend.

At 10 a.m. Saturday, May 5, Horgan will be in Vernon for a rally at local candidate Barry Dorval's campaign office at 3204 30th Ave.

After that, he'll be heading off to Sumerland and Penticton with candidate Tarik Sayeed in the final weekend before the election.

There will be a photo opportunity at 12:15 p.m. in Summerland at Sardinha Orchards at 8200 Front Bench Rd.

Shortly after, he'll be heading to Penticton for a 1 p.m. Town Hall and Rally at Craft Corner Kitchen Restaurant at 557 Main St.

The provincial election is on May 9.
