BREAKING: Kelowna West re-elects Christy Clark

WEST KELOWNA – B.C. Liberal leader Christy Clark won in Kelowna West.

Clark beat B.C. NDP candidate Shelley Cook, B.C. Green Party candidate Robert Mellalieu, and independent Brian Thiesen.

Cook says although disappointed, she is looking forward to what happens at the provincial level.

"That's what really matters," she said.

In the 2013 election, Clark lost in her home riding of Vancouver-Point Grey, forcing a byelection in the Kelowna West riding.

During the campaign, Clark spent little time in the riding.

More to come.
