PENTICTON – Billed as "The best jazz party in the pacific northwest", the Pentastic Hot Jazz Festival is set to sizzle next weekend on stages throughout the city.
The festival, in it's 17th year, will run Sept.6-8 featuring ten bands from across the continent.
Two local bands will play. Aged to Perfection with latin, old ballads and other styles to perform have appeared on stages in Japan, Europe and the U.S.A while Offramp Jazz Sextet will be performing Duke Ellington and Count Basie along with other swing standards. Both are from Penticton.
