Wheat, corn, oat and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices also rise
CHICAGO – Grains futures rose Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery rose 6.75 cents to $7.055 a bushel; July corn rose 7.75 cents to $6.62 a bushel; July oats rose 6.25 cents to $3.7425 a bushel; while July soybeans jumped 14.25 cents to $15.10 a bushel.
Beef fell, while pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle rose 0.95 cent to $1.2130 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.15 cent to $1.4432 a pound; June lean hogs added 0.30 cent to 95.62 cents a pound.
