Penticton RCMP looking for rifle taken during break-in
PENTICTON – A break and enter at a Penticton home last week included the theft of a weapon.
Sometime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. a thief or thieves gained entry to the home's garage through the main door, which had been left unlocked to allow contractors access, Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says.
A CZA58 rifle, metal grey with a wooden stock and four magazines was taken, as well as a Zippo lighter with the initials “GS” inscribed on the case.
Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to contact Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300.
