UPDATE: Vernon RCMP locate missing elderly woman

UPDATE: 2:05 P.M., MAY 28, 2017 — RCMP say the 80-year-old has been located. All personal information has been removed.

3:32 P.M. MAY 26, 2017 VERNON – Police in Vernon are asking for the public's help to find a missing elderly woman from Vernon.

She was last seen earlier this morning, May 26, at 10 a.m. in the 7000 block of Apex Drive in the foothills area of Vernon.

Police say they are very concerned for Maruska's health and wellbeing and are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Vernon RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1 800-222-8477.
