So far about 80 less Kindergarten students have registered than expected, which means the district could see less funding and teachers than expected for the 2014-2015 school year. Jennifer Stahn

KAMLOOPS – Today was the first day of the new school year and the halls of Pacific Way were filled with excitement this morning as students enjoyed their first partial day of school.

Teachers and students have been anxiously waiting for the day to come. Students crowded the doors in anticipation and staff got the last of the preparations out of the way.

After a quick welcome back students spent time getting to know each other a little better and talking about their summer vacations before splitting into den groups for mixed grade activities that will make up the rest of the week.
