High water forces closure of Riverside Park pier

KAMLOOPS – Officials have closed the Riverside Park pier due to high water.

The City of Kamloops announced on social media today, May 31, that the pier is now closed and asked the public to obey all barriers and signs.

This closure follows yesterday's high streamflow advisory for the North and South Thompson River.
