Wheat and corn futures fall on the CBOT; beef prices also fall

CHICAGO – Grains futures were mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 2.5 cents to $6.9425 a bushel; July corn fell 1.5 cent to $6.58 a bushel; July oats were flat at $4.0325 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 4 cents to $15.445 a bushel.

Beef prices fell, while pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.10 cent to $1.1960 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.17 cent to $1.4450 a pound; July lean hogs rose 0.47 cent to 99.62 cents a pound.
