VIDEO: A skier and a mountain biker share the slopes at Silver Star Mountain
VERNON – The folks at Silver Star Mountain aren’t letting this year’s surplus of snow go to waste.
In a recent video posted by the resort, a skier and a mountain biker traverse the melting slopes to the tune of “Summer in the City.”
The video, which shows a substantial amount of snow still on the mountain, offers a playful illustration of this year’s unusual weather.
Silver Star opens for the summer June 23. Hiking, mountain biking and summer tubing are popular activities on the mountain during the warmer months.
