Investigators probe North Shore liquor store fire

KAMLOOPS – Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that started outside the liquor store next to the Duchess On Tranquille.

Fire investigator Ray Webster says 15 crew members responded to the structure fire call yesterday, June 7, at 5:37 p.m.

"It came in as a structure fire call and we take them very seriously," Webster says.

Mattresses leaning up against the building appeared to be set on fire, according to Webster. The fire did not enter the building.
