More cloud and showers expected in the Okanagan this week

KAMLOOPS – Clouds and showers are in the forecast for the Okanagan this week.

Today, June 12, we should get a fairly nice day, with a high of 25 Celsius and sunny skies, according to Environment Canada. Overnight it’ll be partly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers. A low of 11 C is forecast.

Tomorrow cloud will be moving in, with a mainly cloudy day, a high of 25 C and a 30 per cent chance of showers in the afternoon. Those showers will continue into the evening, when the temperature falls to around 11 C.

Wednesday those showers will be sticking around, with a 40 per cent chance throughout the day and night. Highs of 21 C and lows at night of 9 C are forecast.

Thursday the showers will be turning to periods of rain during the day and regular showers at night with highs of 18 C and lows of 11 C.

Friday things will begin to lighten up, with a 60 per cent chance of showers and high of 22 C. That trend will continue into the evening, with a 30 per cent chance of showers and cloudy periods.

The weekend is expected to be a bit nicer, with a mix of sun and cloud forecast and highs in the mid-20s.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs around 23 C and lows of about 10 C.
