VIDEO: Possible space debris falls near Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – A local resident shot a quick video from Kamloops' Labyrinth Farm when they saw something falling from the sky.

"I kept filming after it disappeared and thought to myself… is this it… is this the end of the world as we know it… but nothing happened," wrote the administrator of the Labyrinth Farm Facebook page.

Labyrinth Farm is located on Westsyde Road in Kamloops.

Joanne Rosvick, an astronomer who works at TRU, believes the phenomenon is debris falling from space.

"(It) seemed to be moving too slowly to be a meteor," she says. Rosvick added it could possibly be a satellite as some were predicted to fall.

Whether the piece is debris or not is unknown at this time. Rosvick says the only way to determine what happened is to examine where the item landed.

  1. Helene Godintry looking up once in a while, con trails don’t stay in the air for hours. the ozone is rotted away thanks to fossil fuels burning the shit out of it, they have to spray to keep cool- planes constantly criss crossing the sky are not flight path planes.

there are no such things as chemtrails. They are condensation trails (contrails) like what is coming out of your car tail pipe on a cold day.

Hello again. I’d based my initial speculation on the video itself, but now that I see the still close-up image, I’m thinking the streamers appear more like contrails from an aircraft than from anything burning up in the atmosphere. Perhaps someone at the airport can lend more insight?

  4. chemtrail plane…..look up once in a while…see em justa bout every day.
