KELOWNA – Two women could face charges after police discovered a substantial amount of drugs while executing a search warrant at a home on Moubray Road.
Police arrived at the residence in the 300 block Aug. 27 and seized 2.5 gallons of GHB, several ounces of cocaine, crack cocaine and crystal meth, 10 bottles of methadone and small amounts of heroin, various pills and marijuana. As well, paraphernalia associated with trafficking drugs were found.
The two women ages 33 and 47 are both from Kelowna and face potential charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. They were both released on a promise to appear in court Nov. 14.
The investigation is ongoing.
