PENTICTON – A traffic stop led to the arrest of three people for drugs yesterday on Argyle Street.
Penticton RCMP pulled a vehicle over Sept. 3 and found crystal methamphetamine and associated drug paraphernalia. The three people inside the car, two men and a woman were arrested, but one of the men and the woman were later released without charges.
The other man, Blair Balch, 41, of Penticton faces one charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking. Balch has 84 prior criminal charges included drug trafficking convictions.
Balch was remanded in custody until his next appearance Sept. 5.
