ARMSTRONG – No one has claimed a wad of money found in the Armstrong Liquor Store earlier this month, and with each passing day, the good samaritan who turned it in gets closer to cashing out.
Video surveillance at the liquor store shows the owner of the cash—a white haired woman in a black top and white capris—dropping the money in the liquor store. The woman is believed to be from Alberta. A customer noticed the money and turned it in to the clerk, who notified police.
The RCMP is hoping to return the cash to its rightful owner, but so far, she hasn’t come looking for it.
Police aren’t releasing how much money was there, or how it was packaged. That information will be used to determine who the true owner is.
If the owner doesn’t claim the cash in three months, the person who found it gets to keep it, RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk says.
Anyone who knows the woman who lost a large amount of cash is asked to contact the Armstrong RCMP office a call at 250-546-3028.

Why not post her picture, if she is on video.
Dropping money may be done without noticing, when one is aged. Trust some one will be kind and recall a friend visiting from Alberta that may have been there. What a fine person who turned the money in to the Cashier.
this is interesting, didn’t someone find a large amount of cash in a pocket at Valu Villagedown the valley?
