Soderberg in, Daugavins out for Bruins in Game 5 of Stanley Cup finals

CHICAGO – Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien has made a lineup change for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals, inserting rookie Carl Soderberg and scratching Kaspars Daugavins.

Daugavins had played in every game since Gregory Campbell broke his right leg in the Eastern Conference finals against Pittsburgh. But Julien decided to make the change after the Chicago Blackhawks won 6-5 in overtime on Wednesday night, leaving the series tied at two games apiece.

It’s the first career playoff game for the 27-year-old Soderberg, who had two assists in six games this season. Saturday night’s game was his first since April 28.
