BOSTON – Boston coach Claude Julien says he doesn’t need to make a fiery speech ahead Game 6 of the Stanley Cup final.
Julien says the Bruins are an experienced group that has been through a lot.
And they survived a similar do-or-die scenario two seasons ago when they won Games 6 and 7 to win the Cup against the Vancouver Canucks.
Julien said his players know what they need to do to succeed Monday night to force Game 7 in Chicago. The Bruins trail three games to two.
The Bruins coach offered little in terms of an update on injured forward Patrice Bergeron, saying he was day-to-day. He wouldn’t even say whether it was an upper or lower body injury.
