J. Cole announces secret-show tour finale to take place at Toronto’s 99 Sudbury

TORONTO – On the heels of his new hit single “Power Trip,” rapper J. Cole has announced a quick trip into Canada on his secret-show tour.

The 10-stop “Dollar and a Dream Tour” comes to an end in Toronto on Wednesday evening at 99 Sudbury.

The North Carolina MC, whose real name is Jermaine Cole, has been revealing the locations of his shows on the day of each performance on Twitter, with first-come, first-served tickets costing $1.

In an effort to beat the lines, fans were queued up at crosstown venue Kool Haus before an announcement was made Wednesday.

Cole, 28, was the first signee to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label.

His sophomore album, “Born Sinner,” was released June 18.

His 2011 album, “Cole World: The Sideline Story,” debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart and was certified gold.
