Dean Brody playing charity show in Kelowna

KELOWNA – Multi-award winning Canadian country superstar Dean Brody will be performing in Kelowna on July 8.

The B.C. born country singer will be playing at the World Vision Global 6K for Water at Tugboat Bay in downtown Kelowna, according to the event's website.

Brody will be playing at the Island Stage in the afternoon after the walk is complete

A fundraising event for World Vision, participants pay $20 to travel six kilometres – the average distance people must travel in order to get water in developing countries, organizers say. The majority of these people are women and children.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 8, with the walk beginning at 10 a.m.
