Penticton break-in takes place while residents sleep
PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP are investigating a residential break-in that occurred while the occupants slept upstairs.
Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says police were called to a Victoria Drive home yesterday morning, June 21, after the occupants discovered a break-in had occurred while they were sleeping.
Sometime during the night, the back door was forced open and items in the immediate area of the door were taken.
A Gary Fisher mountain bike, an iPad Air, an HP notebook and two wallets were reported missing, Wrigglesworth says.
Credit cards from the wallets were also used at several retail outlets in Penticton.
Police are reviewing video footage of those transactions.
