Kamloops RCMP investigating two suspicious vehicle fires

KAMLOOPS – Police in Kamloops are investigating two overnight suspicious vehicle fires.

Kamloops RCMP Staff Sgt. Robert Daly says in a news release that police responded to two separate vehicle fires early this morning, July 4, shortly after 3 a.m.

One fire was located on the North Shore on Bentley Place, and the second was on the south shore under the Overlanders Bridge. 

No one was injured in the fires and the investigation is ongoing. Investigators have not found any links between the two fires at this time.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the fires or has knowledge of them to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crim Stoppers at 1 800-222-8477.
