Lake Country wildfire may have been human-caused

LAKE COUNTRY – Police are looking for witnesses or anyone with information about a wildfire that started in a Lake Country ditch earlier this week.

A resident called in the fire and fought the fire himself while he waited for crews to arrive, police say. Firefighters quickly snuffed out the blaze.

RCMP are investigating alongside the B.C. Wildfire Service.
