Angela Stanford owns one-shot clubhouse lead at Manulife Financial LPGA Classic

WATERLOO, Ont. – Angela Stanford owns the clubhouse lead at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic.

The American fired a 4-under-par 67 at Grey Silo Golf Course to move to 12-under-par 130 after two rounds of play.

Anna Nordqvist of Sweden shot a 64 to move one stroke off the lead.

She’s tied with Spain’s Belen Mozo and South Korea’s Chella Choi and Meena Lee with several players still on the course.

Top-ranked Inbee Park of South Korea, who is looking to win her fourth straight LPGA Tour event, has a late tee-off time.

Jennifer Kirby of Paris, Ont., shot a 66 and is the top Canadian in the early going at 5-under-par 137.
