KAMLOOPS – A visit to Riverside Park tomorrow may be less leisurely tomorrow — but more helpful.
Access Pro Bono is holding an 'Advice-A-Thon' in Kamloops tomorrow at Riverside Park on it's third stop in an annual event throughout the province.
Over 100 volunteer lawyers are providing free legal advice throughout the event to low to modest income people in five B.C. municipalities as they raise funds for pro bono programs operated by the organization.
The tour stopped in Vancouver on Friday and will be in Kamloops tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Riverside Park. The tour will travel to Victoria next.
To book an appointment for free legal advice, phone Access Pro Bono at 1-877-762-6664. Drop-in appointments are also welcome.
